Symsafe is an important and long-term component of Symrise’s sustainability strategy. This includes safe working conditions at all locations worldwide at all times. This is the only way to guarantee that employees come to work healthy and go home just as healthy. Our branding differs from other occupational safety campaigns with a moralizing undertone. Symsafe is loud and clear, but still likeable. Especially because of the plasticine figures. They suffer everything that employees must avoid at all costs. They put their lives in danger, cause accidents, injure themselves. They make the dramatic consequences of negligent behavior and irregular work unmistakably clear. Safety also requires structure, care and a good overview. Striking colors and diagonal stripes (derived from the logo) are recognizable as safety markings. They unmistakably signal “Caution!”.
